Working with Emma of Your Healthy Dreamer GREATLY improved our 2 year-old son's sleep habits.
In a matter of days he went from waking way too early and needing us to be in the room with him to fall asleep to sleeping an hour later and falling asleep calmly and confidently without us in the room.
We were so impressed with how quickly he adapted to the new routine. In hindsight we see that he was capable this whole time and just needed a little gentle guidance.
Emma was so helpful and addressed all of our many questions (and hand-wringing) with knowledge and compassion. She tailors the new sleep plan specifically to the needs of the family and carefully considers how best to transition into a new period of teaching healthy sleep habits.
What we loved the most about working with Emma was how she suggested introducing these ideas to our toddler, meeting him at his level with confidence and encouragement and love. Due to Emma's wonderful guidance our family was set up from the beginning to make this process more smooth and effective than we could have imagined. My husband and I sought out her sleep consultation services for our 4 year old who could not fall asleep on his own and had been waking up every night, sometimes multiple times a night, for over a year.
We were exhausted! After 1 week of following Emma’s recommendations, our son was falling asleep on his own and sleeping through the night. From our initial consultation over the phone, Emma was very thorough and informative.
She was respectful of our parenting styles and very supportive throughout the process.
Her daily check-ins kept us both accountable and optimistic, especially in the beginning when the whole family was transitioning to a changing sleep routine.
Emma was honest from the beginning that we would be tired and our son would likely have some rough nights. She was right! However, she reassured us that it would get better and it be worth it. She was also right! I really appreciate her concern for how the whole family was doing throughout the process, not just our son.

We had a great experience from the start with Emma, which is saying a lot because we were at the end of our rope when we met with her!
She was immediately reassuring, warm, and empathetic.
We also were not easy clients, as my husband and I both had very different ideas and even goals when it came to our baby’s sleep. Still, she helped both of us and came up with a plan that met us where we were. She was very responsive and kind with us, even over the Christmas holiday.
She also really taught us about infant sleep and gave us tools for the future. After our experience with Emma, we had the confidence and knowledge to adjust her schedule as she grew and sleep needs changed. Now we are several months out and our baby is sleeping like a champ, even for 1.5 hour naps at daycare! I didn’t think it would be possible.
